*It is VERY IMPORTANT as we review the show information for shows in 2025/2026 that you utilize the link to each shows website to make sure that you are looking at the most up to date information that they are providing.

School Excuses
If your child is showing at one of the following shows, you must complete the form by the deadline. Deadlines are emailed to exhibitors prior to shows. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be approved and will not be changed with the school.
Stock Shows: Gillespie County Youth Livestock Show, Hill District Grandstand Show, Fort Worth Stock Show, San Angelo Stock Show, San Antonio Stock Show, Houston Stock Show, Rodeo Austin, Texas Elite Showcase, Heart O' Texas, State Fair of Texas, Hill Country Commercial Youth Heifer Show.

Quality Counts
Quality Counts is an online program designed to teach youth to have high standards in caring for their livestock. The program focuses on displaying good character while working with livestock. This number is required for ALL stock show entries (county AND major stock shows). Quality Counts must be completed at each grade level division (junior – grades 3-5, intermediate – grades 6-8, senior – grades 9-12). It does not have to be renewed every year.
