The Gillespie County 4-H BBQ is just around the corner, and it remains one of the most important fundraisers supporting our 4-H program. The Gillespie County 4-H BBQ will be held immediately after the Gillespie County Fair Parade (August 21, 2026 at MarketPlatz and Bethany Lutheran Church, and we are excited to continue this long-standing tradition! Each year, this event contributes significantly to the over $50,000 that our adult leaders association invests directly into our 4-H youth through their support of 4-H programs, scholarships, leadership opportunities, and project work for youth in our county each year. This event is successful every year because of the amazing support from our 4-H families—thank you in advance for helping us continue that tradition!

Raffle tickets are now available for purchase online or from any Gillespie 4-H member! This unique opportunity will allow friends and family out of town to help support Gillespie 4-H!
