*MUST be shooting in fall archery project meetings to attend.

Archery Contests:
The Shooting Sports Extravaganza
If you’re new to shooting sports, this is the place to start! The Shooting Sports Extravaganza is a beginner’s match and learning event. Beginner shooters will learn the process of shooting competitively, basic knowledge of firearm and range safety, and about the shooting sports events. Ages: open to grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Indoor Archery Match
The indoor archery match is held each year in 6 locations. Competitors will choose to compete at only one location, and scores will be ranked by all competitors at both locations. There is a “first year” class for competitors that are new to archery and new to the indoor archery match.
Texas 4-H Roundup Archery Match (Senior Members Only)
The Texas 4-H Roundup Archery Match will be held the week of State 4-H Roundup. This will be a 30 target, 3-D Match. This contest will allow a maximum of 100 archers.
Texas 4-H State Games
The Texas 4-H State Games are the largest youth shooting sports event in the nation, bringing together 4-H members from across the state to compete in disciplines such as archery, rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Youth showcase their skills in marksmanship, safety, and sportsmanship while connecting with others who share their interests. The event emphasizes personal growth, responsibility, and teamwork in a fun and challenging environment.
Fredericksburg 3D Archery Club
All ages and skill levels are welcome.
There will be a Shooter of the Year Buckle Series. you must shoot a minimum of 3 shoots AND the season finale BBQ shoot to qualify for the buckle series.

All shoot entries are $25 for adults, youth 12-17 $15, Youth 9-11 $10,

District 7 Coach Training - Brownwood, TX:

Information:. The District 7 Shooting Sports Coach Training will take place March 6th- 7th, 2026 (Fri. & Sat.)
- This registration takes place through the 4-H Center Registration Site, NOT 4-H Online. However all participants at the training MUST have an active profile through 4-H Online to participate.
-Training will begin at 2PM on March 6th & tentatively conclude early afternoon on March 7th.
-Only one discipline certification (archery, pistol, rifle or shotgun) is obtainable per participant at this training.
