Fall Project Meetings:  
Tuesdays  @ 6 p.m.  Starting October 14th (Except 1st Tuesday of the Month)
Beginners: 3rd Tuesdays
Advanced Dog Project Meetings: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays
Location: Gillespie County Extension Office

Project Fee: $25 Annually 

March 10, 2026: Advanced & Beginner  practice @ 6:00 pm

March 17: Spring Break- No Pracctice

March 24, 2026: Advanced & Beginner practice @ 6:00 pm

Dog Show:

State Dog Show
The state 4-H dog show is held each year in July, and offers classes in agility, rally, obedience, costume, tricks, drill, showmanship and conformation. Some counties host 4-H Dog Shows. These contests will be publicized on this page and through e-mail as information becomes available. At the annual State 4-H Dog Show, you can enter photos you have taken of your dog in the Dog Photography Contest. Photos are entered in four categories: dog still life, active, storyboard, and theme.

Date: July 7-9, 2026
