Meat identification by species (beef, pork, lamb)
Learning about cuts of meat (primal, retail), and cooking methods
Learning quality & yield evaluation by assessing factors like marbling (beef), leanness (pork), color, and trimness to determine retail value
Developing strong communication and terminology through oral reasons
Gaining understanding of science- based information about meat, processing, storage & handling
Learning about the livestock industry, from production to processing
Teamwork to achieve shared goals & enhance collaboration
